Canada Declares "Bigfoot" and endangered species!

Ok, this is really strange.

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Canada Declares "Bigfoot" and endangered species!

Post by Agentpaw »

I just saw on Yahoo! news that Canada is declaring "Bigfoot" and endangered species! :-s
Yahoo! News wrote:OTTAWA (AFP) - Bigfoot, the legendary hairy man-like beast said to roam the wildernesses of North America, is not shy, merely so rare it risks extinction and should be protected as an endangered species

You conveniently left the next few words out of that quote. ;)
So says Canadian MP Mike Lake...
What one person says cannot accurately claim to represent the opinions of an entire country, or even the entire Canadian government, or even Lake's entire political party.

It isn't as bad as those people who were selling insurance against Loch Ness monster bites.

But I still can't say that I support it. :duh:

It isn't 'bigfoot' in Canada, it's Sessquash (sp?).

Am I right, Canadians?

A number of different names have been used by a number of different people and countries for the Bigfoot/Yeti/Sasquatch/whatever else you want to call it. ;) There are all pretty much interchangeable, as far as I am concerned.

Check out www.hoopsandyoyo.com for their hilarious website intro! \:D/ And yes, it does have something to do with Bigfoot. ;)

Didn't we have some fun, though? Remember when the platform was sliding into the fire pit and I said, 'goodbye.' And you were like, 'no, wait.' And then I was all, 'we pretended we were going to murder you.' That was great...

You'd be surprised at how much "evidence" there actually is on bigfoot.

I concur. I believe he is real. *anticipates frowns of disapproval*

But I won't be dogmatic about it. .....................everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion :D

It is a bit silly to call it an endangered species though.............. :-s
