Crocheting, and Knitting Discussion

Do you knit or crochet?

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

I have never tried knitting or crocheting, and I don't think I'd want to. I am currently cross-stiching this little "Noel" thing (I started it before Christmas...), and my mom says I have to finish it... ](*,)

Knitting is so much fun! If you do while listening or watching something else it is more fun. You should try.

It took me a total of about 4 months...although one of those months was a couple years before the rest. I had been working on the piano and got bored with doing so much brown and stopped. Then a friend of ours who loves to play the piano was getting married, so I finished the rest. That took about 3 months working as fast as I could and staying up really late at night the last 2-3 weeks. :D

I'm an avid crochetter. Doilies, scarves, hats, pillows, etc. Anybody ever do any sweaters or anything? I want to know how.

No...I'm just learning so that's a little to difficult for me to try right now. :)
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.

That wasn't bribery, that was just a reward or an offer of a unilateral contract. I want $1000!
