I was it in the CCM magazine. It looks neat. So, you like it?

Haven't gotten the CD, but we're all singin' "wherever we go...that's where the party's at."

Love that song. *grin*

Funny you should mention that...my local radio station just had a contest to win that CD. I didn't win it, though. :)

I haven't heard anything from it at all :(

I was a huge Newsboys fan back in the day...
-Not Ashamed
-Going Public
-Take me to your leader
-Step up to the microphone
...but since then I haven't really followed them :(

Go sounds a lot like Going Public with some elements here and there from the albums that followed. As a Newsboys fan who owns and loves to death all those albums, I think I can safely say that you'll like Go.

I'll give a review as soon as I wrestle it from my little sister.

That's actually really encouraging. Thanks Elrohir. I just might try it now :D

Has anyone heard "your love is better than life"? It's a rap song, and it's so funny.. \:D/

Eh. I heard "Wherever we go" on the radio, can't say that I was impressed. I thought it was repetitive. And what on earth is the message? It sounds totally arrogant and ... silly.
“Among the attributes of God, although they are all equal, mercy shines with even more brilliancy than justice.” —Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra

By the way, Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, was a racist.

I have, and it's hilarious. You've gotta love that Australian accent!

Yay for Aussie rap!

BTW, here's how I would rate the Newsboys albums I own.
1. Love, Liberty, Disco
2. Take Me to Your Leader
3. Thrive
4. Step Up to the Microphone
5. Go
6. Devotion
7. Going Public
8. Adoration

So maybe Go's not as good as Step Up to the Microphone, but it comes pretty close.

First of all it's really encouraging to hear that die hard Newsboys fans like this new album as much as the old ones. I'm really considering getting it.

But where on earth is Not Ashamed and the fabulous Hell is For Wimps on your list? I can't make my decision before knowing how Go ranks among those two classics \:D/

I never got Hell is for Wimps. Is it good? I was kinda hesitant to buy it after listening to Read All About It. I didn't actually start listening to Newsboys until Shine... The Hits 'cause I was only 14 then and that's when I started getting into Christian music. And I'd put Not Ashamed at number 9.

Hell is for Wimps is a typical 80's Christian Rock album... very much like Petra, Whiteheart, Degarmo and Key... etc.

If you don't like those bands then you might not like it. I, on the other hand LOVE that stuff :D.
