What song is currently stuck in your head and refuses to go?
You know... those songs that get stuck in your head for months at a time?

Shakira seems to be mostly permanently gone, but now I've had Song of Storms/The Windmill Song stuck in my head for like three days! A down up, A down up...
It's a pretty song, though. I want to play the song in its entirety on my flute the next time I get it out.

Stand to Praise (I think that's what it's called) by Aaron Shust. Just the chorus. The chorus is:
It's catchy. We stand to praise you Lord
We stand to praise you Lord
We stand to praise you Lord
We stand to praise you Lord

heart and soul. I tried to play both parts by myself on the piano... it was hard

Didn't we have some fun, though? Remember when the platform was sliding into the fire pit and I said, 'goodbye.' And you were like, 'no, wait.' And then I was all, 'we pretended we were going to murder you.' That was great...

I used to be able to play both parts to "Heart and Soul" when I was 12 or 13.The Artful Dodger wrote:heart and soul. I tried to play both parts by myself on the piano... it was hard

And...I've got "Above All" stuck in my head...but that's partially due to the fact that I sung it over and over to myself during the past several hours while tossing and turning in my bed trying to not think about potential boogie monsters lurking in the dark corners of the room.

And when the rain would fall down
I'd just stare out my window
Dreaming of what could be
And if I'd end up happy
I would pray (I would pray)
Trying hard to reach out
But when I tried to speak out
Felt like no one could hear me
Wanted to belong here
But something felt so wrong here
So I prayed I could break away
[Chorus:]
I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly
I'll do what it takes til' I touch the sky
And I'll make a wish
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway
Out of the darkness and into the sun
But I won't forget all the ones that I love
I'll take a risk
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway
Wanna feel the warm breeze
Sleep under a palm tree
Feel the rush of the ocean
Get onboard a fast train
Travel on a jet plane, far away (I will)
And breakaway
[Chorus]
Buildings with a hundred floors
Swinging around revolving doors
Maybe I don't know where they'll take me but
Gotta keep moving on, moving on
Fly away, breakaway
I'll spread my wings
And I'll learn how to fly
Though it's not easy to tell you goodbye
I gotta take a risk
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway
Out of the darkness and into the sun
But I won't forget the place I come from
I gotta take a risk
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway, breakaway, breakaway

One of my dad's old Air Force songs... Well, if I die on the old drop zone, pack me up and send me home. Bury me in the leanin' rest, tell my momma I did my best...
