I don't necessarily HATE these movies, but I don't get the big deal:

Lord of the Rings trilogy
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
Pirates of the Caribbean
Fight Club

I'm sure there are others, but that's all that comes to mind at this particular instant... so post your own lists! :x

Umm...most of them.

Actually, I KINDA like Narnia, but recently I borrowed the DVD and watched it for the the first time since the theater, and I was surprised at how much I disliked it! It's just WAY different from the book (especially since I've been listening to RT a lot lately). I couldn't really appreciate it as much.

LOTR is good once in awhile, but it's a bit long winded. I like POTC, but it gets old after a while.

I don't bother with most of the other popular movies. I fell asleep the first times I watched "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and "Madagascar," both because I was tired, and because I was bored.

I don't really like TV much anymore.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
The movie was slow and boring, the plot (if there really was one) was dull and the much-praised fight-scenes weren't all that exciting

Quit hating on the Pirates! :x (Im so hyped up for POTC2 for some reason.)

LOTR was good but I can only watch them like once a year or something like that...because it just dosent refresh if you get what I mean. Im sorry to say this but the recent Will Smith movies werent too good, I wish he was still as funny like back in the era of Fresh Prince or even Men in Black.

Spiderman. Usually I can find some redeeming feature in popular movies, but this one was so boring. And the villain made me laugh in an I-can't-believe-we're-supposed-to-be-taking-this-seriously way. And I wanted to slap the helpless-girl-standing-around-screaming.

kingdom of heaven. maybe I'm to young and stupid to get this movie but I couldn't follow it, and I didn't like the charactors and it wasn't as good as some people said it would be.

Like COT, I haven't seen most of the movies you all posted. There haven't been many movies released in the last 5+ years that I have liked! I ususally stick to the classics.

Star Trek movies

I actually love the LotR movies, but lately I'm kind of sick of them because my Dad's for a while took to watching them EVERY Sunday afternoon. Get's kind of old really.

Any movie that has swear words in it... which is just about all movies these days! (So you can tell I just don't like movies in general :D !)
