I enjoy a lot of movies from that era, but Singing in the Rain is one old favourite! \:D/ Mary Poppins is also great, as well as lots of others! :D

Oh! Singing in the Rain is...beautiful! I love that movie. Okay. Has anyone seen The Thin Man series? They are so good. The Thin Man is a detective who usually says he is not interested in being on the case, and to wrap up the case he gets all possible suspects in the room together and starts saying why and why not people could be the murderer. A lot of the times some of those people have guns. hehe. =] Let's see, there is also The Lady Vanishes. Alfred Hitchcock...not too scary..at all...in any way. These are black and white movies. They are from the 30s to early 40s.

Gone With the Wind was my favorite from the 30's but I've seen it so many times that I'm tired of it. Mary Poppins is still my favorite from the 60's.

I love The Sound of Music and A White Christmas(its a traditon with my family to watch that on Christmas Eve) and i really like Fiddler on the Roof. I'm not sure when it was made but i think of it as an old movie.
