happened to hear an episode featuring jack allen recently and it brought back all the memories of skipping jack-centric episodes when i was a kid. jack always felt like a real wet blanket to me. he was like whit if whit never did anything cool and just admonished people all the time.
as i got older, i remember skipping wooton-centric episodes a lot too. the character just turned into this flanderized nonsense machine that never seemed to change or grow after a certain point.
who was that character for you? who had you fast-forwarding your cassettes as a kid?
characters you never vibed with
characters you never vibed with

he/him | a little stinker.

Wooton becoming a main character pretty much ended my regular listening to the program.
I like complete stupid nonsense in theory but it was out of place much more often than not. It was like they just dropped Pee Wee Herman as a regular character in Law & Order SVU and everyone else had to pretend this person shouldn't just be locked up in the psyche ward.

Wooton was one for me too, though he's grown on me some. I also couldn't stand Jillian at first cause that was sterotype was being overdone in her character. I won't say more because spoilers.
