Convinced that she knows what's best for Jules, Connie interrupts band practice for an unexpected trip to Trickle Lake.

Wow, I don't know!
I think this is a crucial part of Buck's and Jules's story arc(s), and I'm all for that.

Is Bill Kendall canonically an alcoholic? Tell me if I'm forgetting other episodes about that! I'm not so thrilled with the idea and wish it had been handled a little differently. Workaholic, self-centred, womanizing man-child, yes, but alcoholic too? Maybe I am just forgetting!! If not...it's a little much.

One thing I like is that Jules's behaviour seems totally normal for a teenager who has been through a lot and then had another rug of stability ripped out from under her when Buck moved away. I like that they are taking their time with her non-linear growth.

I also like that Buck has experienced a lot of moral growth before making any decisions about Christianity.

Jillian seems toned-down.
So...I don't love how this episode makes me feel, but I think it was a good one, in the long run?

@chadagonye
Listen to Where Is Thy Sting. That is the one I can think of off the top of my head
The biggest Buck Meltsner + Madison (check out For a Song) ship fan ever! Ship name: Budi (instead of buddy 😜)

Bring Richard Maxwell back!

We need to petition for AIO to come out with a Novacom soundtrack.
