The Night Owl vs. Early Bird Controversy
The Night Owl vs. Early Bird Controversy
Sooo. Apparently I'm a genius.

Think there's anything to this? Believe that the research that went into this study was from an evolutionary viewpoint but it's an interesting prospect. I know why I started staying up late (it was for several reasons) but over the last few years it's become a habit. When I stay up later, I tend to be more happy, socially inclined, and (most of the time) have more energy. Although, on the latter note, around two o'clock in the afternoon I start feeling quite tired. However, if you can get over that hump, it's not bad.
Some of my most creative inspiration, and deeper thoughts have come in the middle of the night. It's also when I start opening up to people more, caring less of what they think of me.
Any early birds or night owls on here?

I don't stay up as late as I used to because I have to get up at 6am, but I still feel I've failed myself if I am in bed before midnight.
Wow! I'm a genius! That's almost exactly my schedule.

True, Bookworm. But if you go to bed at one you can get up at seven and still have slept six hours.
I do believe getting an adequate amount of sleep is important to one's well-being. But it seems you can get away with crazy sleep patterns every once in a while, especially when you're young.
And late night chatting is just too much fun.

Although I get more work (such as school) done in the morning, I am definitely a night owl. I get a lot my creative inspiration when I'm up late at night rather than it coming to me during the day....Plus I don't get interrupted at night because everyone is in the bed. xP
Nighttime. Definitely nighttime for me. I pretty much feel the same way as Shtakji.
