My original thought (which of course I shared with nobody) was to get the sign-ups early enough that people would forget about the event, and some at least would be surprised on April Fools. In an unfortunate occurrence, all of my stocks from last year were lost, which is a great pity, I would have loved the reactions to some of them. But, I have refurbished, and some have been re-obtained, and I am happy that the tradition can continue.
