Goals and Plans for 2014

Post by American Eagle »

So, aside from reading, what's on your agenda for the coming year?

Lose weight? Finish high school? Buy a car? Have a baby?** Make a movie? Ski in Alaska?

Feel free to be as specific or vague as you like. \:D/ I want to see where everybody is going in life.

**This one only applies to Top and CA. And bookworm if he finds mrs. bookworm.

I have five resolutions/goals/plans for 2014.

1. Find a new home church since I don't really have one at the moment.
2. Join a gym/dance class because exercising by yourself is not fun.
3. Continue to do well and excel in my college classes.
4. Make new friends and grow closer to the friends I already have.
5. Write something every single day even if it's just a sentence.

You should've put "be as physically mature as AE" instead of physically fit, but whatever

1. Watch Sherlock season 3

My goal is just to not be stressed out over every little thing. Oh, and get top scores on all my AP exams. And I'd really prefer to have a score in the 34-36 range on my ACT. :p

My goal is to... uh... I actually don't have any goals besides finding a new apartment. >_> But that's gonna be done pretty soon, so once that's done I think I'm good for the year.

One of my big goals for 2014 is to squat 200lbs (currently my max is 160) so I still have a lot to work on. (That can go under the header be as physically fit as AE.) Another thing I want to do is watch less YouTube and read more books. I also want to buy more clothes this year (my favourite resolution) and overall just be more awesome.

Good stuff, people. \:D/

My Goals for 2014.
Apply for and hopefully win a few specific scholarships.
Get good grades in the college classes I'm projected to take this year: Accounting I and II, Economics, HRM, Humanities, Selling, Marketing, and Writing II.
Meet with an advisor for Eastern Michigan University and probably apply.
Visit my sister in Oregon.
Apply for a job in a business office.
Get my braces off!
See The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I at midnight.

I don't think it's always an unfortunate thing. At least with Harry Potter, they could fit more into two separate movies and take their time instead of trying to cram everything into one. I for one appreciated the two parts, even though it takes longer to watch.

but I get what you're saying; it does mean having to wait longer for the second half to come out.

Well, I finally decided on a major, so passing my intro to accounting classes with grades that are good would be awesome.

Also, I'm going to Vienna for the fall semester of this year, so I guess that's one of my main plans.
It's been awhile, hasn't it?

They both got that from what Peter Jackson said way back when about planning to split the Hobbit. :noway:

I will be reading more this year, and I've got some travel aspirations, which might include not one but two trips to Minnesota's North Shore (read: paradise). Other than those the only real goal, or 'project' might be a better word, is to keep a rock climbing journal. My goal is to have climbed over 2.5 miles by the end of the year.
