What animal do you wish you were?

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

What animal do you wish you were?

Post by Anna><> »

I ponder this question a lot more than a normal person would.
Here's a conversation I had with a friend a few weeks ago:
A: I wish I was a koala. They have great lives.

K:

LOL I wish I was... a turtle

A:

I wonder what animal has the best/easiest life.

K:

Defs not an ant

A:

That's a very good point.

K:

Hahaha this is bothering me, I can't figure out which animal has a good lif ehaha

A:

I even googled it.

K:

LOL

A:

It seems like maybe sloths?

Or domestic animals like dogs.

K:

Yeah dogs haha

They're treated so well

A:

I wish I was my dog.

K:

LOL

why

A:

Cause she gets fed and doesn't have to cook, and she doesn't have to do statics or any homework for that matter, and she doesn't need to make money because my family buys everything for her. They love her more than me... lol jk

K:

ahahaha

Someone is lacking love haha

A:

lol, i'm kidding

K:

but yeah dogs do have good lives

A:

except they're allergic to chocolate
Last night I was listening to a podcast about platypuses and I think it would be really fun to be one now... But I'm not fully sure if I really want to be one, because it might also be cool to be a shark or killer whale or something.

So what animal do you wish you were any why?

Sloth. If I were a sloth, sloth would not be a sin. I would sloth all day long and then when I died I would end up in sloth heaven.

I can't decide.. Cheetah, because it would be fast, Swan, because then I could swim and fly....

I think I would be a duck.

A bald eagle, because I would be protected and able to fly.
Lots of people instantly go ‘Bird! Flying would be cool!’ but they don’t think through that if they’re just any bird then they might get hunted or something.
So yeah, bird so I could fly, bald eagle specifically so I’d be safe.

I like the thought of being a sea turtle. "Grab shell, dude!"
It would be interesting to experience the life of a snail as well, I think. Hey, I'm a slow person!

Hm....
I'd say a horse, but that would be too expected.
A sea otter.
Because they get to enjoy the wonders of land, but also get to swim underwater in the sea.
Plus, they are soo cute.
So a horse or a sea otter.
