I got the Sue Thomas DVDs for my family for Christmas (hence why I didn't post here sooner ;) )! We all watched the pilot episode together and enjoyed it, and decided that we would only watch the episodes together... so they'll be waiting for me when I go home for spring break. :D It's a very positive, feel-good (well, from what I could tell from one episode ;) ) show. The deaf aspect makes it fascinating and unique, and the Yannick Bisson aspect makes it swoon-worthy. \:D/

My mom got the first 11 episodes for Christmas as well. I've seen them all now, and I enjoyed them indeed. \:D/ I was surprised I hadn't heard of them before.

 I am ashamed of you. As both a Canadian and somebody who has been on ToO for years, you really should have either watched it on CTV or have observed some sort of Jack-related swooning and related sigs and avatars. (Though I guess they never mentioned Sue Thomas, just Jack...) O:) But really, CTV shows reruns every weekday and sometimes Sunday afternoons too, so if your family likes them, you can watch lots more wonderful episodes! :D

Does anyone here watch Sue Thomas. It's really good show about a deaf FBI agent.

Yannick Bisson is in Murdoch Mysteries. I think it's still running, either that, it was just canceled.

I like STFBEye. Bobby is probably my favourite character. \:D/

Oh Yannick Bison; he's one good looking guy. :D I've seen a couple movies he's starred in; mainly when he was way younger than he is now.

Catspaw needs to see this thread \:D/

I'm pretty sure I've seen every episode of Sue Thomas. =] It is a pretty good show, yes. I would like to buy the seasons at some point.

The channel that aired the first 5 seasons cancelled it, but in an unusual turn of events, another channel picked it up and there will be a sixth season, if not more.

Done. \:D/ I love the show, and it either gets the credit or blame for my little addiction to Yannick Bisson. ;) I've rewatched all the episodes multiple times and they're always still wonderful! I have a few favourites, but they're all good. There's no one episode that I think, "Oh, that's the worst one." I love them all. :inlove:

I want to see it at some point. \:D/ I keep looking at my library, hoping they'll buy the DVDs for me to borrow. ;)

My sister LOVES it. Want to hear a funny story?
Okay, so it was airing on CTV, so me and Captain decided to record the episodes and give them to Hannah, my eldest sister, as a Christmas present. But, my sister bought the entire collection "for the family". (yeah right ;) ) AND, my parents bought her the entire collection for Christmas too!
Yeah, we have the entire collection at our fingertips.

The DVDs are definitely worth it. It's a lot of fun to finally easily be able to watch everything in order without commercial breaks or trying to sort through VHS tapes with pencilled-in labels. ;) That was good enough when there were no DVDs, but I made sure to buy them as soon as they were out. Christmas is coming up, for anybody wondering what they might want! Just try to organize within your family so you don't end up like poor Joy's family. Hey, that sounds like a dream come true! One set to lend out to convert new fans and one set to keep sounds like a great idea.

Hahaha, sounds like my family ;) we bought one set for ourselves, then one set for my sister, then a set for a friend...and probably one more that I can't remember. They're worth it though \:D/

Also, in the bonus features with the director (I think), he talked about possibly making a Sue Thomas FBEye movie. Which would be amazing :D

Yeah. except since it was my sisters present, she decided to exchange that for something else, and kept the one she gave to "everyone else". For me and Captain, there was no reimbursement. :(

My sister is deaf, and she goes to deaf camp each year, and she got to meet the real Sue Thomas. She was very excited about that.

Wow, that's fantastic! :D I love the way that she shows up in two episodes as Deanne, an actor. It's a fun little wink at the audience, and from the little that I know, she seems like a person who has lived an amazing life filled with God's grace.

^I saw an interview with Sue Thomas talking about her ministries and also how God helped (and continues to help) her get through MS (multiple sclerosis). She seemed like a wonderful, faith filled person. :)

Watched "The Signing" and one other I don't remember the name of, a few days ago. Any of those episodes make me smile ;)
