2012 Summer Olympics
Amy: I mean to say I wish David Tennant could've run with the torch while he was still the Doctor; him not doing it now does indeed disappoint me, but it might be a tad weird if he came back now and did it because he isn't the Doctor now.
Not that I don't miss him dearly but Matt Smith is good too.

Till the end of the line.

Sigh.. I love the olympics (winter more than summer, but they're both awesome ) But I think I'm going to be gone for all of them
Team USA basketball all day, LeBron, Chris Paul, and Kobe? Instant gold medal.
People’s Twitter reactions to the Games will be visually shown on the London Eye.

The trio of low post players for the women's team is also an instant medal. I have never actually watched much or even cared much about the Olympics. If I was still in Summer School at my library where I can actually get high speed I would watch it online.Mike Lowery wrote:Team USA basketball all day, LeBron, Chris Paul, and Kobe? Us Yanks unfortunately don't get the Opening Ceremony live. But we get it delayed at 6:30 tonight on NBC.

Do note that that's CST. Not EST.

I really enjoyed watching the opening ceremony (not live, I wasn't getting up at 3:30am). Really cool way to do the cauldron.
It aired at 4:00 my time, so, YAY! Plus CTV has Olympics all day! On their website and on TV!
Rowan Atkinson was the best part.

Wow. Is it just me, or were the Team USA uniforms reeeeeeealy dorky? For being a Ralph Lauren design, you'd expect something less preppy-GPA 4.0-I-go-to-boarding-school-looking.

Since I don't have a TV or high-speed internet I have not seen any of the Olympics but I might be going to the library today and I might watch some clips on NBC.
