The ToO's Fantasy Football League

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Hey, AE...question. In the playoff thing, do you pick a new roster each week? And do we each get the 50 points every week, or what? :-k
...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Yes, and yes. You'll have to set your roster 3 times; Wild Card Weekend (this weekend), Divisional Weekend, and then Championship Weekend + the Super Bowl. (After the second week, you'll want to fill your team with players who you think will be in the Super Bowl.)

Perfect, thanks AE! \:D/

And no we shouldn’t have ‘keepers’ that’s not fair.

I take it multiple people can pick the same players.

My Wildcard Week lineup:

Drew Brees, Eli Manning
Pierre Thomas, Mark Ingram
Hakeem Nicks, Marques Colston
Jimmy Graham
John Kasay
Saints D

Exactly $50

TE: Brandon Pettigrew
K: John Kasay
D/ST: Bengals

Mine is also exactly $50. \:D/

I've got:

QB: Drew Brees, Big Ben
RB: Arian Foster, Michael Turner
WR: Marques Colston, Julio Jones
TE: Brandon Pettigrew
K: John Kasay
D/ST: PIT

And now I am 50 too. This should be good.

If you change your name to Aaron Bookworm, maybe they'll let you win this week! \:D/

Just realized I got no points for Ingram last week because he was injured. It’s amazing I still tied for first.

My Divisional Week lineup:

Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers
John Kuhn, Darren Sproles
Jordy Nelson, Marques Colston
Jimmy Graham
John Kasay
Saints D

Exactly $50

The salary cap is stupid, it took me forever to get a usable lineup because I kept going 8 cents over.

-- 17 Jan 2012 02:08 pm --

I dropped to third. My roster was all Packers and Saints, both of which lost. :P

-- 20 Jan 2012 01:23 pm --

My Conference Week and Super Bowl lineup:

Eli Manning, Joe Flacco
Brandon Jacobs, Ray Rice
Hakeem Nicks, Victor Cruz
Travis Beckum
Billy Cundiff
New York Giants D

Exactly $50

-- 24 Jan 2012 11:32 am --

I stayed in third.

Going to be missing three players for the Super Bowl.

Boooo! :x

I did terrible. :( That horrible salary cap made it hard. :noway:

Congrats, AE! ;)

Yeah, the salary cap was ridiculous, I couldn’t get the team I wanted for the final lineup.

Finished in third place.

I'm afraid the season is over. If we decide to play again next year, I'll be sure to post the rules. :)
