Re: Godzilla vs Kong

It's weird. Monster stuff was fun, of course, but upon only one viewing, I think they leaned too much into some of the silliness that was hinted at in the last couple movies in the series. Like the hollow earth stuff. Which I was okay with them hinting about previously, and figured we'd see it here,...

Re: Odyssey Characters You Could Totally Beat In A Fight

This brings me back to the ranking system of "8th Grade Toughest Boys!" a friend of mine made when we were in 8th grade.

It'd be kind of weird if he had made it more recently.

Re: Mask Mandate in Odyssey

I maintain Odyssey is in Ohio, so glad they sort of kind of reached similar conclusions. I'm pretty sure my hometown is the Connelsville to Wapakoneta's Odyssey, based on the clues given on the show. Possibly Cridersville but I think that's too small. But yes that isn't the point of the articl...

Re: Unpopular AIO Opinions

I used to unpopularly really not like the Novacom saga. Although while I remember very little about it at the moment, I re-listened many years ago (probably close to ten, yikes) and it was a lot better than I remembered from when it first aired. It's been a long time so maybe people have warmed up t...

Re: Super Nintendo World

Yeah, it's pretty great looking. I'm going to assume I never make it to this park in Japan but they are eventually (in the next few years I think) doing one in Florida so while I hate travel and crowds and Florida I might make my way there eventually.

Re: What did/do you do on long car rides?!?!?

Yeah my brother and I looked for Slug Bugs occasionally so we could punch each other but that only lasts so long--plus he's quite a bit older so I had a lot more trips as an "only child." I think we'd maybe try to find license plates for every state or something but after ten minutes of po...

What did/do you do on long car rides?!?!?

We took our daughter on her first actual vacation trip that amounted to more than a couple hour round trip (about 6ish one way this time), and she did a good job because she could just play on a tablet and stuff. BUT BACK IN MY DAY when I was her age I went half way across the country with nothing b...

Re: WandaVision

Watched the finale earlier today. Wasn't bad or anything, but it was almost too predictable. Like I was expecting some big twist but it just sort of had a normal-ish (as much as you'd expect) ending. It was already looking to be the case but I was kind of bummed that FoX-Men Quicksilver was absolut...

Re: Questions for Catspaw

Can I have my username changed to "crazyforjared" please? What is the perfect Valintine's day gift? I'm single so I don't know if I'm quite the expert on the subject. I personally think books and chocolate make for a pretty good gift. If you're looking for a real answer, I think that whate...

I'm pretty sure that means its time to add a "like" feature to the board. \:D/

Let's face it, I'm going to be the only person in the theater, COVID or not, they need to just let me see it there. >_>

Re: Tablets vs. Laptops/Desktops

I use a desktop at work because its right here in front of me. Otherwise I just use my phone 99% of the time, so I guess that's kind of a tablet. But yeah if you aren't really going to do much other than browse intrawebz and some simple stuff might as well go with a tablet. EDIT: Or a Chromebook, th...

Re: All Things Sleep Related

How do the kiddos do with bed time? @The Top Crusader It was pretty bad for a long time, but has gone better lately. >_> For the most part. Maybe like once every week or two it takes an extra hour or so to get her to get sleepy, but that used to basically be daily. We cut out naps, though. Which ge...

Re: WandaVision

A lot of people are joking since Sam Raimi is directing Dr. Strange 2, that will heavily feature Scarlet Witch, that it's the Necronomicon from the Evil Dead Trilogy he directed, but... I doubt that's the case. >_>

I've seen random people say they are going to both be an hour but I have no idea how they know that. I assumed they read it somewhere official, but they could be making it up. :(

Re: All Things Sleep Related

Do you have a sleep routine? More or less. Usually go to bed around the same time during the workweek (10:30ish), a little less rigid when I'm off but usually midnight-1am. Do you bathe before or after sleep? Usually moreso after work but I guess that's closer to "before sleep." I instant...
