Vegetables

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Vegetables

Post by Arla »

Vegatables are funny foods. People love some kinds and despise others.
So what vegetables will you actually clean off your plate?

Potatoes (In any form)
Carrots (Not cooked, too mushy)
Broccoli (just the stems)
Pickles (YUM!)

Looking back, I'm still picky.
Just smell those burning leaves, the warm baked bread, and the hot apple cider. Ahhh.

I love corn, asparagus, pickles, and some types of green beans. Raw carrots and raw celery are good sometimes. I dislike broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, turnips, and lima beans. :anxious:

I like corn and lettuce. I don't mind green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, and raw carrots. And...basically everything else I despise. :) Except maybe for an occasional pickle.

Peas and corn are my favorites, but carrots, broccoli, and green beans are good too. Any other kind of bean is gross. I've always wanted to try okra, but I've never had a chance.

I dislike okra, eggplant, yams/sweet potatos, and kohlrabi. I prefer cooked spinach as a ingredient of a dish, not alone. Otherwise, I like all vegetables.

I like carrots, radish, potatoes, peas, beans, onions, pumkin, all melons (especially watermelon,(oops, I guess that's a fruit)), squash, cherry and grape tomatoes, lettuce, corn, sweet peppers, some hot peppers, etc.
Wow! I guess I like just about every fruit and vegetable! There are a lot of htings I didn't even mention that I like.
This year (as we do almost every year) my family is planting a garden. The results will be delicious!

Corn, celery and carrots uncooked better than cooked and peas. Potatoes in any form.

No raw veggies for me. Corn, green beans w/butter and peas are the ones for me. I like potatoes in almost any form also. Except twice baked.

Tomatoes are actually fruit; not vegetables, right?
