Your Favourite Odyssey Lines

Tell everyone your favourite characters lines

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

Your Favourite Odyssey Lines

Post by Jasper Dale »

There are moments in Odyssey when a character utters a line and for some reason it sticks out and I always associate them with that character. My all time favourite comes from Lucy Cunninham-Shultz when she's upset with Connie for ratting on her at camp and utters the infamous line:

"Oh................Connie................it's you......"

That always cracks me up.

My favourite Tom Riley quote:

"My horses!"

Eugene: "How could you do this to me???!!!"

What are some of your favourite lines???

From Tom Riley: "Not going to be much for conversation is he?" From Promises, Promises.

From Connie: " You have more loopholes than a spaghetti strainer."

There are so many good lines! I quote them randomly all the time - I'm lucky that m family knows what I'm alking about, since most other people don't.

I like Richard Maxwell's "I never forget," even though I could never say it like him. :( Anything from Bernard is perfection itself. "That sounds about as inisightful as a dog wearing a sweater" - I mean, really, who else other than Bernard could get away with that? ;) Some of my newer favourite quotes is from "The Present Long Ago" - "Puddin' pop?" never fails ot make me laugh, and "It takes a whole stuntman just to play my left arm" brings me much joy as well. \:D/

It would be impossible to list all of my favourite AIO quotes - there's just too many of them! \:D/

Spell colloquialism, the word used in the post before his. Looking at the context of posts often aids in determining what they mean!

I could never spell that either. I'm not a great speller :-$ I think Harlow's line 'can I have another cookie?' is hilarios! (can't really spell that either) :D

We're talking about favourite quotes/lines, not favourite episodes, in this thread. :) Those are good eps, though! :D

"Greetings and salutations, Mr. Shanks!" I love all of Eugene's different ways of trying to introduce himself when he's getting ready to meet Armitage Shanks.

"I'm Guinevere Morrow. My friends call me Jenny. You can call me Guinevere." - Jenny to Whit in "The Triangle" Such a great line!

I lvoe it in ...But Not Forgotten, when Connie says
"If anyone else is hiding in a booth, they'd better let me know right now!"
And Eugene quietly says "Boo." :hilarious" It's just so out of character for him, I crack up everytime! \:D/

I think this quote

Shakespere: Welcome to Poetry Corner, with your host, the renouned Edward Blackgaard.
Edwin: That's Edwin you NINNY!
Shakespere: You're on the air.

and this quote

Joel: I got an F on my science report. My Mom's going to give me the look again.
Ed: Oooh, I know that look.
Joel: Your mom gives you the look too?
Ed: Nah, I'm married.

are hilarious! :hilarious:
