True. However, video is also a medium with which you can talk. Text doesn't have a monopoly on discussion.

Plus people might pay attention more to a video than words since we have relatively short attention spans and are a visual culture.

Plus, I don't know everything and I can link to someone who does know what they're talking about, and who can explain it better than I can. So that's a plus.

I have a short attention span and therefore do not watch videos. Especially ones over 2 minutes. :D
