Jeopardy! Record Surpassed

Post by Taq »

Tonight on J!, a guy passed Ken Jennings' 1-day winnings record ($75,000) by getting $77,000 on his SECOND EPISODE. I highly recommend watching. He is Jennings-esque, great in buzzer & knowledge, and he wagers more aggressively.

Also, a friend and I tag-teamed to correctly answer the final clue (See link). 8-)

Woohoo! That was a great game of Jeopardy! I was impressed yesterday by his $37,000 win, but I was in complete awe by his game today - he answered almost everything that came up. I wonder if he'll beat the 5-day record as well, which I think is about $200,000, with the current clue values.

I was watching - wow, was he smart or what?! And I couldn't believe how much he wagered. It should be interesting to see how far he will go.

Now if he could just break the whole 74-straight day thing. \:D/

The game today was hard to watch! I thought he would lose this early, and we'd never know he'd become a great.

Some people yell at their TV's during sports events - embarrassing as it is, I yell and cheer during Jeopardy. :(

Slow start tonight! I thought he was a goner. But both Daily Doubles put him back in the lead! \:D/

Yeah! I'm really enjoying Roger's run, especially the aggressive wagers. This is quality entertainment, folks.

I'm really excited for this guy! He's my favorite contestant since Dave Belote, who seemed unstopable as well. \:D/

When I saw the final Jeopardy topic, I waved at the screen and said "Bye bye Roger!" :bye: Alas, his run came to a sad end.

I missed both his record win and his defeat... at least we record them all. Well, at least we'll see him again for the Tournament of Champions later on...

Ahh, this was the first Roger game I missed and he loses! Oh well, haha. Roger had a fantastic run and I am looking forward to seeing him in a future Tournament of Champions. Now, tonight I need to tune in tonight to see how the giant killer does.
