I'm reading Pride and Prejudice right now, and I just recently saw a P&P play. So Mr. Darcy hasn't been too far from my mind. That reminds me of last summer, when Trent's name was changed to Mr. Darcy (by yours truly). They really have so much in common (I am, of course, talking about super-kind-and-thoughtful-Mr.-Darcy, not the proud twit he was at the beginning).

I'm reading Pride and Prejudice right now, and I just recently saw a P&P play. So Mr. Darcy hasn't been too far from my mind. That reminds me of last summer, when Trent's name was changed to Mr. Darcy (by yours truly). They really have so much in common (I am, of course, talking about super-kind-and-thoughtful-Mr.-Darcy, not the proud twit he was at the beginning).

I've always thought that Mr. Darcy and Lizzie would make a wonderful couple!

It's interesting that you mention that similarity, because I'm reading "Anne of Ingleside" by L.M. Montgomery (book 6, for those trying to remember) right now and Gilbert's behaviour reminded me of Trent as well. He usually isn't as much of a fool as he is towards the end of the book. Poor Gilbert....all those stresses of being a doctor. I'm glad that everything turned out so well with Gilbert - he regained his senses fairly quickly! Not everybody can say that. Something else that Trent and Gilbert have in common is that they are both Canadian, which is an excellent redeeming quality.

Just finished reading Auralia's Colors. It's an excellant book I'd highly recommend it

Whats it about?

It's a fantasy about a girl found in a large footprint when she was a baby and she was taken in by thieves who raised her. When she became older she found that she learned that she had a strange peculiar power that involved colors.
It's a very good book that involves more then just that. I'm just not too good with explanations

I'm not sure what book I'll be reading, but I know I have to read something above my reading level--which is kind of difficult, because I'm not sure what books are higher than post-college but at the same time aren't violent, depressing, both, or just plain stupid.

I finished The Seeker today, very good. I don't know if there is going to be another book or not, I hope so. I'm now reading Lydia's Charm by Wanda Brunstetter. It is an Amish story set in Ohio. I read her last trilogy and really enjoyed it and this one is very good so far.

I'm reading Bride for a Bit, one of those books with four stories by four different authors that are all connected. I really enjoy stories by Cathy Marie Hake, so I'm reading it mainly because she wrote one of the stories. So far I've read two of the four, including Hake's, and it's quite enjoyable so far. I laughed as soon as I saw the premise of the book - a warning against mail ordering anything for sure! Bridle or bridal...they're both so similar!
