AIO Live Show in Colorado Springs

Aug 16, 2008

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

I've decided that unless financial hardship tears me away, I shall make a full effort to come. *starts dreaming of August* \:D/

Aww, this talk is so exciting - I hope I win the contest so I can go too! O:)

Me is coming?!?!? I didn't know that! If I did, I would've made my decision and promised to come a whole lot sooner! ;)

Hmmm, I'm wondering what the differences are between the two shows (I'm assuming it's not just one show performed twice, but I don't know...) and what (if any) events are going on - at this time specifically or on a regular basis - that I shouldn't miss. Having never visited FOTF before, I'm a bit ignorant on this. Any answers to these questions would be very helpful :D

There's some okay restaurants around FOTF, so the food part of that probably wouldn't be that hard... I don't think anybody else would want to go to this in my family, and we'll probably be busy because it's squeezed right in between two out of town events. So, maybe I should actually get my driver's license. :anxious:

I second this inquiry. I'd like to know the differences, if any, between the shows, and also what else is going on.

Also, how much does each ticket cost?

I just noticed the UAIO Podcast posted a bit of info about the gathering...maybe we'll get some answers when whitsend.org posts the details.

As far as I know, there won't be any major differences between the shows. Obviously, they won't be identical, but the content will be the same. My guess is that their reason for doing two shows rather than one is to accommodate the mass number of people that are going to be in attendance on the weekend.

Each ticket costs $10.

hello all, long time away, Yes, the shows will likely be identical just like at the Focus 25th, this is to get a "2nd take" or in Katie Leigh's case, a 3rd and 4th take for the recording. :-)

BTW if you can't afford to go, enter the CBD Contest

I will be there, looking forward to meeting some of you.

I also just bought tickets for the 10:30 showing (:yay: ), and received the following information:

- There will be an autograph session at 1 PM (ostensibly for those attending this showing)
- Doors open 30 minutes before it starts
- It is a 1-hour long show
- You need photo ID when you check in (as others have already mentioned)
- The person I talked to didn't know what the differences were between the shows, but thought they might be separate shows.

I'm a member of the Adventures in Odyssey 20th Birthday Bash event group on facebook, and I just got the following message:
Tickets are on sale NOW, you will need to order them ASAP as they are selling fast, you will need picture ID to pick up your tickets on Aug. 16th. also the 10:30am and 3:00pm shows are separate events! if you want to go to both, you need to purchase 2 tickets
I just emailed [email protected] to find out for sure if there are differences between the shows.
