I'm the one who stated this at first. Donna says 'important' in many, many episodes and she always says it the same way.... it's insane!Sarah wrote:In pet peeves too...crosskritters wrote:I think she says it that way in the ep where she thinks that her parents are getting a devorce. What annoys me most about Odyssey is....
This is meant to be fun, not deroggatory!

Sorry, I just love everything about Oddesy. Have ever since we started listening to the program.

1) The "segregation" between kid groups. Example: in the latest album, we don't see Marvin or Tamika interacting with anybody but each other. Same with Mandy and Liz.
2) The fact that Odyssey is sometimes rather utopian. Example: I liked it when Jimmy "turned bad" because it seemed very realistic.
But hey, I can live with that stuff! All in all, I like the show a lot.

Um, I guess this is where I'm supposed to say something funny or interesting.
I agree with those who've said that Whit's character seems to have changed since Paul Herlinger started playing him.
One example (and something that's always bugged me) is, in Where There's Smoke, Nick calls Whit, well...Whit, and Nathaniel seems awed that he calls him that. And then, Whit tells Nathaniel to keep it Mr. Whittaker on the job.
What about Connie calling him Whit on the job? And especially: "I'm John Avery Whittaker, but you can call me Whit"?

Hmm, that's a good point, Lizzie. I never really thought about that. I see it as different, partially because Connie has been around for so long. She is a bit older than Nick too, though not by much. To me it kind of makes sense, but not in a way that really makes sense. Connie is Connie and Nick is Nick, you know? No, of course, because I don't make sense.

Katrina's voice annoyed me a LOT for a while. It still does, but I'm accepting it.
I actually like Lucy, but I see how some people could think she was too goody-goody. That's why I like the end of "Have you no Selpurcs?" when there's a point about pride.
Another annoying thing was that I heard Family Vacation after a lot of the other Barclay episodes, and I just HATED that the voices were soo different.
Sometimes Donna can be a brat, but at least it's realistic.

I am the only one to blame for this
Somehow it all ends up the same
Soaring on the wings of selfish pride, I flew too high
and like Icarus I collide
with the world I tried so hard to leave behind

(I'd rather that happen then them bring in new Barclay's )agent3xq wrote: The only annoying thing that I can think of is Katrina's voice which I'm trying to adjust to...
