Things you can do to get $15 every month:
a) Mow your lawn and pay yourself
b) Open a new credit card with a $180 yearly limit
c) Look deep in your couch cushions for loose change
c) Go door-to-door begging for money

I like the last two ideas.
I'm thinking more of the books that can be bought with $180. Plus the fact that begging for money is not allowed in my neighborhood unless one has a permit.

I was listening to "Missionary: Impossible" this week where Alex goes door to door to raise money for his missions trip.
I absolutely love that when Jason asks him how much money he has raised, Alex answers,
"About fifteen. And that's including the money my Grandmother sent me for my last birthday."
I quite literally laughed out loud. I think that this answers perfectly how hard it is for kids to raise $15 per month.

Yep. Using my signature for a shameless plug. But trust me. If I can be so arrogant, I think it'll be worth your time.

Getting $15 a month is not that easy.
And considering the situation over here, it's harder than it is over there

WEll, I am far from a kid, but after 6 years of on and off unemployment and only working a temp job now, I will not be signing up to anything that has a contract. So, the finances are only part of the issue. I agree that Focus needs to create new products for the new technology and market, but that does not mean leaving the "old guard" behind. I am sure they did alot of market research before coming up with this idea, but there just seems to be something missing. LIke they have tunnel vision........

My swedish husband is now calling it "The Snob Club" and we are unforunately out. This makes me livid as I have personally been requesting the Harley Files for YEARS. I feel like I have been slapped in the face.

well, I am debating about leaving all things Odyssey for a year and then coming back in January 2015, if I remember, to see if things have changed. I have not decided. I want to leave a way to get "news" but not get upset every time I hear about the club. It is not good for my blood pressure. (insert volcano pic here)

Is there an actual date for "The Launch" of the Club?

Opening a credit card solely for this purpose is not a good idea. How would you pay it?American Eagle wrote:Things you can do to get $15 every month:

A fitting title if I do say so myself.
Unicorns exist... they just got fat and now we call them rhinos.

Jennifer ~ at some point in the future we may make the Officer Harley episodes available for purchase or through our new Odyssey Adventure Club. These program will not be available for purchase or through the club at this time. We hope you will continue to enjoy our programming for many more years!
This was my response from the AIO facebook page. I do not know who it is that monitors that. This seems in direct contrast to the letter received from Jimmy on another thread............I think I will still take my year long hiatus as that idea has given me a certain peace of mind and heart that have been lacking since the "Launch" of the club idea.
While I am angry, blowing up their server would serve not good end. However, I am greatly in favor of muffins to celebrate my hiatus......perhaps I should stay on this group as my Odyssey outlet. Those of us taking a hiatus can support one another in discussing our favorite eps and activities of Albums 1-57 and all things Odyssey prior to 2014. Hm.........have to think of that. The Odyssey Time Capsule Support Group. That is more productive and fun.
