Re: The Butterfly Circus

Oh man. Way to go for making me cry in the library... T_T I'm trying to surreptitiously wipe my eyes, but the librarian keeps looking at me.

Playlists

This is a topic that doesn't quite know what it is. I'm not even sure where it should go, but a general discussion sounds safe enough. So anyway, I like making playlists for different moods (I'm sure this is a common enough occurence) but recently I feel like I've been stuck in a rut with my music. ...

French Aural (boo) French Oral (ditto) French Grammar (ditto) French Writing (ditto) So, Smaug, are you, by any chance, learning French? That was the original idea. Whether it's worked out that way is debatable. Ooh, you are so fortunate \:D/ I wish that I was taking those classes. Wanna swap? \:D/...

My two-year old nephew scolded me the other day for sitting on his chair.

It was cute, though.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and guess you're doing engineering Anna. \:D/ This semester looks like... er, fun: Discrete Mathematics (hopefully that means more boolean algebra, yay!) Programming Techniques (yay, C++) Data Structures and Algorithms (meh.) Intermediate Programming and Natural L...

Re: Favorite AIO Siblings

It does often seem that Tamika's the younger, but it's said explicitly in "Bringing Up Dads", I believe, that she's the elder. I'd like to contest this point. :noway: I've never heard it said that she was older. In this episode, it's said that she's only eleven years old. Marvin is clearl...

Aw man. The next episode has been totally spoiled for me. Now that I'll be expecting the monkeys, the surprise is ruined. :(

I seriously love this community. :inlove: Where else on the internet do you get such genuine relationships and mutual respect and understanding? In the spirit of things, I'd also like to apologise for encouraging (however imperceptibly) the whole drama. I didn't think about the possibility of people...

Re: What have we become?

Yeah, I have to agree with what you posted Sam. While it's lovely to see old faces return, and I think it's great to have the variety and diversity of opinions and beliefs that we have on this board, things have gone a bit crazy lately. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but ridiculing other...

I'm reading the Appendices from the Lord of the Rings. It's good, but no matter how many times I read it, I still forget who's who. It doesn't help that so many characters have names beginning with the same letter. :x

Re: List of ToOers!

This list strikes me as a thing guaranteed to backfire no matter what. If you include someone, rather than feel flattered, they'll think "As it should be", if you leave someone out, they'll feel insulted; and the more people you include on the list, the less gratified/more insulted they wi...
