I guess I forgot about Monica's impersonating a Christian...huh...
It still may be noteworthy that he hasn't had an actually Christian love interest yet...
Any other factors anyone would like to discuss?

Re: Trickle Lake
I'm fairly sure it's actually a bit away. Like...not really comfortable walking distance but an easy drive. That I was always sure of.
K...so now I have a location for that scene. Trickle River? Got it.

Re: Trickle Lake
Thanks much.
...so...there'd be nothing in canon to contradict it if I decided to have someone, say, go hang out at the River a few miles upstream from Trickle Lake? hummm...

Trickle Lake
Hey, I'm trying to write a fanfic with scenes set at Trickle Lake...after a whole lot of rain for like a month.
Is Trickle Lake somehow connected to a river? Does it spring from an underground fountain?
Any and all help you can give this out-of-touch fan with poor memory would be AWESOME.

Re: Percy Jackson and the Olympians
If you prefer fetch-quest based storyline to direct heroes journey based storyline, than yes, the movie is better. Especially if you're more entertained by audiovisual stimuli than by text. I do highly recommend the movie, unless you've already read the book in which case it's poop avoid it.

Re: Doctor Who
Hey, Chris Eccleston is AMAZING. ...he's just...um...more...villain material than....uh...hero...yeah. It's true though, without season 1 you'll miss a lot of stuff. Like the Rift in Cardiff and Jack's...condition in series 3. (wait, actually that's where you learn about it at all if you don't watch...

Jason Character discussion
Let's go a bit beyond personal opinions here if we can. I'm up for some really deep character analysis, and Jason is a really great multi-dimensional character to play with. Let's take a look at things like his upbringing, the sort of personality it takes to be a successful secret agent and how that...

Re: Enjoying AIO as an unbeleiver.
thank you... and therealjoalcool I completely agree with you. Honestly that's been my greatest struggle with some of my concepts...portraying Whit's reaction to them realistically without feeling as though I'm sending the opposite message of the one I intended. Don't worry, the most prominent idea i...

Re: If you had to date one person in Odyssey who would it be????
My first instinct is to say Jason. ...but, for reasons established in canon, that wouldn't work out. So than I thought, and think, Richard Maxwell. But... If we're talking about a date, one, single, probably dinner, date... Edwin. So much I want to discuss with him. Seriously...I would *buy* dinner ...

Re: Doctor Who
Well...the series 5 final has come and gone. I stared in confusion, I cried, I shouted with joy. I also decided that River Song is perhaps the most epic companion EVER. (minus Ace...I don't think Ace can be beaten.) Opinions anyone?

Re: Doctor Who
Honestly it bounces back and forth in as far as sci-fi "hardness" goes. Sometimes, the extent of the sci-fi is the TARDIS dumping them somewhere and some alien is trying to do stuff.
...other times the techno-babble can...overwhelm...significantly.
Still...completely brilliant.

Doctor Who
Anybody watch this ever? ...I'm trying to post about Doctor Who on an AIO board so let me take a moment to get my brain AWAY from the idea of Jason one of the Doctor's companions...*ahem* Anyway, long-running British show since 1963 (I think), canceled for a couple decades, back in 2005 with a 2010 ...

Evenesence is good...
Within Temptation is better.
My Immortal and Bring me to Life are GREAT songs that got WAY overplayed.
...also...like half of my AMV's get audio-swaped to one of their songs...

I BLAME this movie for the sudden rise in my already-quite-mad friend's sudden LEAP in crazy. Yes, it was AWESOME. ... but...Spoon. Seriously. Spoon. I called it watching the movie too. I was like "oh, there's his new catchphrase." ...yeah...lots of fun, not the best thing Johnny Depp and ...

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean
To the one who referenced ghosts being un-biblical because of "absent with the body, present with the lord" I've been wanting to ask this for a LONG time and now's a good a time as any... What about the souls going to hell? Is there anything in the bible to imply that they go straight to h...
