Sugar Creek Gang

They're our gang!

"Books? You want books?! Ha! We've got books on hairy otters, on onions and on mars! All the fungus you could care for, plus, three triple zillion stars. We've got books on flossing teeth, plus three books on tossing sheep. If we spent our lives just counting books, we'd never get to sleep!" -Leopold the Librarian ("The Great Wishy Woz")

Does anyone else listen to or read the Sugar Creek Gang stories by Paul Hutchens? They are a regular part of our story time before bed.

Yeah I have about 25 - 30 of them. They are kind of the Hardy Boys of Christian Literature. \:D/ \:D/ With better plots that is. #-o

I have read them! \:D/ It's been a long time, though. I used to really like them, (I probably still do) and I used to like hearing them on the Captain Chesterpeake and Sparkle radio program.

I used to read those books when I was a kid, but I never made it all the way through the series. I much prefered Hardy Boys, till I found the wonderful world of Stephen King.

Has anyone seen the videos? No, I haven't, but we got them for our younger generation.

They made Circus a girl! And she's Dragonfly's twin!
The movies are different than the books, but still good.

I've read some of them and I've read ALL of the New Sugar Creek Gang series. (They're by Paul's daughter, ands they're more modern, but I still love them.)

My sister got me three of them. But yes, the hardy boys are similar. I think that the hardy boys are better though.
