ENRAGEMENT!!!!

So, tonight at the fireworks, my father introduced Top as his daughter's fiance, which we all found to be amusing... As it was quite unexpected. So I sort made a face at Brian and he chuckled silently. As we drove away, I mentioned to dad "Fiance, eh?" And dad said "Well, close enough." We laughed about it and watched fireworks later.
After getting home tonight, Brian and I decided to watch TV... And Brian, in his weirdness, stuck his hand down our couch (Which he did the very first time we met, if you'll all recall). Which he knows bothers me to bits and pieces. So I told him to get it out of the couch. He refused. So I pushed him away, but his hand remained in the couch... So I stuck my hand down there and grabbed something with his hand. I thought it was bread or something, but then wondered about it... And found it was a black box. I opened it and asked where it came from. He just laughed and I noticed it said "Kay's" in pretty silver writing the inside and saw a shiny diamond in the box...
So I yelled at Brian -- because I was supposed to KNOW when he'd ask, I had people all over trying to get it out of him -- and called him some names... so finally he got on his knee and said "So, Jess..." and of course, we all know the question that followed... "Will you marry me?" So, yeah... I'm a bit surprised...
Note: I'm posting this because we all know Brian isn't always to be believed, so Sarah (We're on the phone to her, right now!!), Top, and I all agreed I should post it. Because I'm more honest than him.
