The courthouse?
what is the courthouse for?
it says that there are no prisoners right now..
do we get to put people in jail?
now that would be cool..

People go to jail if they land on the "GO DIRECTLY TO JAIL. DO NOT PASS GO" space
But seriously, I think only the admins can send someone to jail when he/she break the rules, i.e. post spam comments or such.

You can't exactly sue people, but if a member breaks the rules consistantly, rather than ban that person, we have the choice to put them in jail. Depending on the severity of their ban, we can either leave them in prison for a set period of time or a member of the board can pay their bail and release them.

Well the courthouse is where you pay bail... or "judge" users of their crime (you can cast a ballot of innocent or guilty). The Jail is still where prisoners are held, it just so happens you need to visit the courthouse before you can release prisoners.Eugene Blackgaard wrote:You see, my good people, this Town is so small, that the Courthouse is used to lock up criminals, instead of a jail.

That's a cool idea.........one that hasn't been done on other boards yet.Shadowpaw wrote:You can't exactly sue people, but if a member breaks the rules consistantly, rather than ban that person, we have the choice to put them in jail. I'm assuming someone banned (or "in prison") isn't able to post until they are out of prision?
Peace Out

Why did Mr. Whit get locked up? Did the member with Whit as his/her SN really break rules or that was a planned fun thing to play a story on the board??

When Bennett Charles took over the Town of Odyssey, he imprisoned Mr. Whittaker, along with David Harley.LovedbyGod wrote:Why did Mr. Whit get locked up? Did the member with Whit as his/her SN really break rules or that was a planned fun thing to play a story on the board??
