Ask Jennifer -- New and Improved!
Ask ME questions. And I'll give you an answer straight from the Bible. Sometimes.

Great question Karin. I have about 8 years of babysitting experience, in real life!Karin Doyle wrote:Hmmm... what are you supposed to do when you're babysitting and you have a 1-year-old crying because he couldn't stay outside, and a 6-month-old crying because she doesn't like being in a walker?
The way I deal with crying is the "quick distraction method". With some people, this involves food or television, but it doesn't have to. You could start pretending to weep yourself. Sometimes that makes the children raise an eyebrow. You could say AHHHHHHhh. And then run in a crazy circle around the living room and dig out of some his/her toys and toss them high in the air.
Or take the 6 monther out and sit them together to cry in company.

Say, one group of people holds a bitter grudge againts another group of people, and when that group of people tries to be civil and the leader of the other group continues to be negative and such towards the other group... well, what's a person to do?

A) Stop being delusional.
B) Spend more time in the real world.
C) Make more attempts to appease that group you can't get any love from, they'd prefer offerings of money.

Since "Salt" and I are cousins, Lucy couldn't care less for our friendship. She knows that no one will ever be able to compete with her for Kris's heart.Catspaw wrote:Does it bother Lucy that you're so attached to Salt?Pepper Doyle wrote:I love salt! Pepper, how would you like a job at RED SCORPION? We need as many underminers as the current administration as we can get!
