Mr.Men

"Books? You want books?! Ha! We've got books on hairy otters, on onions and on mars! All the fungus you could care for, plus, three triple zillion stars. We've got books on flossing teeth, plus three books on tossing sheep. If we spent our lives just counting books, we'd never get to sleep!" -Leopold the Librarian ("The Great Wishy Woz")

I used to love Mr. Men. Hmm, let's see if I can remember their names. Mr. Skinny, Mr. Greedy ... ack it was too long ago. I think there was Mr. Happy and Mr. Sad and some others.

Anway, those shows and books were hilarious. I remember there was one where Mr. Skinny got so skinny he fell through the drain while he was taking a shower.

Didnt read the one about Mr.Skinny.
There is no Mr.Sad but there is a Mr.Miserable in the Mr.Happy book.

Mr. Clumsy, Mr. Slow, Mr. Chatterbox, Mr. Fast (or Mr. Rapid or something like that)...those really were pretty funny. Like the time when Mr. Fast called his huge mansion "Weekend Cottage" because that's how long it took him to build it(!) or the time whin Mr. Clumsy tried to read his mail and fix breakfast at the same time and ended up with a letter in the toaster. Mr. Clumsy was hilarious! :hilarious:

I watched the show more than I read the books. That was where I saw the one with Mr. Skinnny.

Wow... I haven't thought of those in a long time! Was Mr. Happy yellow? And maybe holding a flower? That's about as much as I might be able to pull out of my brain about it. And they had some female versions too.
Cute and very silly. \:D/
Thanks for the happy memory!

I used to read the Mr. Men books a lot when I visited my grandparents in Indiana. Now I read them to my cousins when we visit my grandparents. :D I've read the female version of these books, too.
Oh, and I still enjoy them, weird as that may sound! :D
