Denomination

Post by Christian Cowgirl »

I got curious as to how many Catholics we have here after reading the thread "the pope died."

This isn't to down anyones faith, simply to take a poll! Vote away!

Our church is non-denominational. I think we're self-proclaimed "bapti-costals." :anxious:

I attend and Assembly of God church... Though, we haven't joined quite yet.

Our old church was Evangelical Free. The two churches, though two different denominations, both are almost exactly alike in their beliefs.

I voted for non-denominational, because the church that I've attended for years and am a member of is non-denominational. Before that my family went to an Evangelical Free church. I guess there could be some overlap, because I'm non-denominational, but I would still think of myself as Protestant as well.

That's primarily because we're neither just charismatic nor just conservative (in the spiritual sense). We're more of a blend of both. O:)

I was raised Assembly of God, but wound up on a Baptist church once I was on my own... so, I'm kind of a Bapti-costal as well, I suppose. :)

Many of you know that I was SDA for several yeras......I'm in the process of getting my membership withdrawn (so I guess you could say I'm still by technicallity SDA if you're going by where my membership is).

For the past several months I've been attending churches of various different denominations. I like the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and Non-denominational chuches best........I consider myself non-denominational now, and am looking for a church that is charismatic.....or at least simi-chrismatic.

I'm currently regularly attending an Episcopalian church becuase that's the church that the friends I'm staying with go to (though sometimes I go to other churches with friends from work). I like it there pretty well.

Sorry about the such a long way to answer a simple question.........I'm hyper today.

Peace Out

God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

God, Grant us the peace that comes from honest dealings so that no fear of discovery will haunt our sleep May we inflict no pain, bring no shame, and seek no profit by another's loss.

I voted other. I am a Missouri Synod Lutheran. But I used to be a non-denominational church that was renting buildings out so we didn't have a specific place as in a church building. I am glad that we are going to a lutheran church. \:D/

Right, the "noone" part. Yes, I do have a very big clue what it is. I know a lot about it. :-)
