Prisoners of Fear, Part 2
Prisoners of Fear, Part 3
The Business of Busyness
All-Star Witness
Always

Thanks for the input and we look forward to getting everyone’s votes!

Well it's not mandatory... but it definitely helps if you say "Will Ryan - Prisoners of Fear I" so we have a reference for what show you think he deserves a best actor nod for. For example, I would nominate Jess Harnell for some shows where he plays Wooton, but I wouldn't for some where he plays a character on Kid's Radio.AIOFan11 wrote:Oh...I didn't know that. Oh, ok. Thanks for you help. But, I think that Eugene was the best male actor in all of the episodes...is that okay?Santapaw wrote:Well it's not mandatory... but it definitely helps if you say "Will Ryan - Prisoners of Fear I" so we have a reference for what show you think he deserves a best actor nod for. When they put it up to vote, they'll put something like "Will Ryan as Eugene in 'Prisoners of Fear' " or something like that.AIOFan11 wrote:Oh, ok. Thanks for you help. Nominees for Best Actor
Bart Rathbone in "Odyssey Sings"
Grady in "Back to Abnormal"
Eugene Meltsner in "POF, Part 2"
Gobir for "POF, Part 3"
Tom Riley in "A Christmas Conundrum"
John Avery Whittaker in "Silent Night"
Nominees for Best Actress
Connie Kendall in "Odyssey Sings"
Tamika Washington in "Odyssey Sings"
Katrina Shanks in "POF, Part 2"
Aubrey Shepard for "Always"
Bethany Shepard for "Always"
Liz Horton in "Tales of a Small Town Thug"
Nominees for Best Scene
Harlow Doyle sings a 27-Second Opera in "Odyssey Sings"
Wooton Bassett sings an Ode to Macaroni in "Odyssey Sings"
Eugene connects the dots, and realises that his parents may be alive in "POF, Part 1"
Yoseph stops Gobir just in time for Eugene and Katrina to get away, in "POF, Part 3"
Gobir makes a crucial decision in "POF, Part 3" weither to tell the truth to Kwame about the bridge, or not.
Ben and Aubrey spend their last father-daughter moment together in "Always"
Eugene realises he is doomed to be recognised as he discovers the gas leak in the Odyssey Middle School in "Tales of a Small Town Thug".
Eugene explains to Grady the true meaning of gift-giving in "A Christmas Conundrum"
Whit and Lester walk off to spend Christmas together bearing many gifts in "Silent Night".
I believe that "Best Moral" should still apply as a part of this year's awards. If nothing else, it forces the fans to think about what the episodes have tried to teach them, and reinforces what they've already learned. Afterall, the writer deserves an award when they're able to communicate their lesson/moral inside a story, better then someone else.

I can't remember far enough back to nominate much... but the scene with Jason, Janna, Jenny, and Whit after Jerry's death in Silent Night deserves a nomination for Best Scene for sure.

Music is my life. God's given me gifts, and I like to use them.
Spirit now lead me, take me where You will
I long to adore You, reveal Yourself to me
My cry is to please You, so have Your way in me
Completely to bring glory to Your Name

Wait, are we to nominate the ACTOR (Will Ryan, Ed Walker etc) or the character (Eugene, Tom etc)?
I'll go with actor since that's what I believe Nathan wanted...
Best Actor:
-Paul Herlinger (Silent Night)
-Will Ryan (Prisoners of Fear, part 1 especially but really all of them)
Best Scene
-Christmas Conundrum (when Whit ties the gospel to Christmas)
-Christmas Conundrum (when Eugen ties the gospel to Christmas in the next scene with Grady)
-Prisoners of Fear (when Eugene finds out his father is alive)
Best Moral if we decide to do it
That we can never repay Jesus for his gift (Christmas Conundrum)

The Gospel:
Holy God in love became
Perfect man to bare my blame
On the Cross He took my sin
By His death I live again

For POF, 1, 2, and 3, best actor Will Ryan, best actress whoever plays Katrina.
Whit: The Best is yet to come. (from "A Prayer for George Barclay" and "Gone.....")
Eugene: Impossible! Prepositions are not words that I end sentences with! (from "Poor Loser")
Arthur Dent: Operation: Thinktank will enslave the human race. Would you like a muffin? (from "Box of Miracles")
Best Actor: Will Ryan -- A Christmas Conundrum
Best Actress: Whoever plays Katrina -- POF parts 1 - 3
Best Scene: The Christmas Scene after Jerry Whitakker died -- Silent Night
(I blanked out, Katrina's actor is quite accomplished at acting)

they may be copper,
annoying little coins! but,
they might be giants.

Yes i would pick that and/or the scene where Eugene gives his Christmas gift to Grady in a Christmas Conundrum as the best scenes.Mandy Straussberg wrote:I can't remember far enough back to nominate much... but the scene with Jason, Janna, Jenny, and Whit after Jerry's death in Silent Night deserves a nomination for Best Scene for sure.
