Who is your favorite Whit? (I think that I spelled Herlinger wrong.)

I like the old Whit's laugh, but I also like the new Whit.

I'm guessing that Hal Smith will win - that's who I voted for. I am very glad that Paul Herlinger exists to continue Whit's presence on AIO, but I definitely prefer Hal Smith's voice, especially his laugh. :mecry:

I think that the people who voted "neither" meant that they like them both. At least, I did.

I don't have a favorite because I didn't start listening to AIO until after Paul Herlinger started playing Whit. So, Paul Herlinger was the first Whit I knew. And while I have learned to love Hal Smith as well, I can't say that I like him more.

I voted for Hal Smith but I am eternally grateful to Paul Herlinger for stepping into those huge shoes. O:)

I voted for Paul Herlinger. I really like his voice. Hal's was kind of scruffy. (Though it was good!) And Paul's is much cleaner and clearer.

Even though I liked Hal Smith better, I think Paul Herlinger's voice is a good "progression." PH's voice sounds a little more 'dried out' than HS's, giving the impression that Whit's voice changed because of the arid climate of the Middle East (at least, that's what my family and I thought when we first heard PH).
