where did you get the idea for username from?

hey
I was wondering where did you all get the idea for your username from? Is it your real name? Is it from Odyssey? Or did you make it up? Mine is my Dad's name; that's why it's mitchell and not after the one in Odyssey.

Ever since I heard of the band "Stryper" I've always thought the spelling of the word was cool. I use Stryper for any video game screen name (cause it sounds really appropriate in a video game surrounding).

When the TH asked me what I wanted as a screen name, I instinctly put down STRYPER.

I just think it's a cool username; not that I adore the band or anything (though I do have all of their albums

)

But actually, when I first joined ToO, i put my name down as "sarah prachett" or however you spell it, but then asked to have it changed, because I didn't want to confuse anyone, and make them think that I was on of the charachters. (Like, sometimes, Bernard Walton will post on the boards, and stuff. In charachter.)

Well... technically I could've picked two of the options, but I went for Odyssey.

But it's also because Amanda/Mandy is my real name, and I have a lot in common with Mandy.

mine is obviously from odyssey. i love wooten he's a great character and i like the whole secret that he writes powerboy comics.

Actually, none of the above.

A few years ago, I was addicted to the FPS 'Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force', one of the best shooters ever made. The game had an online game which was more fun than listening to the episodes in which Eugene returned.

Anyways, soon after becoming one of the best players in the game, I decided to start my own clan. Well, at the time, I was part of the HYPNOS clan. And, since I really liked that clan, I decided to make my clan the sister clan to the HYPNOS clan. So, the PSYCHE clan was born. We killed many a men during our reign of terror. *sigh* Good times...........

Anyway, after I became ADDICTED to AIO again, I started browsing the web for any kind of AIO sites. And, what site should come up, but The Soda Fountain. Well, after emailing SP for a few weeks, if I remember correctly, he convinced me to join the TH. Well, when I joined, I had just finsihed playing a game online with my clan, for old times sakes, and was in a PSYCHE mood. So, while sitting at my computer, trying to think of a name for myself, the word 'PSYCHE' popped into my head. What a wonderful idea! But, I wanted my name to have an AIO flare to it. So, I added 'AIO' to my name, and that is how 'AIO Psyche' came to be!

When I was signing up for the TH, everyone already had all the AIO and LOTR type names. Then Dr. Watson suggested Laura Ingalls, and I promptly adopted it.
