I have to say Finding Nemo. It had the best "moral" so to speak. The "moral" of The Incredibles was, if you aren't special, don't try to be. You know, that one scene:
Syndrome: I'm going to be special without having powers!!
Mr. I: You fiend!!!
Syndrome: And then I'll give everyone powers so nobody will be special!!! HAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
It left me like o_0

And what about the themes of being yourself, family life, etc?chexfan2000 wrote:I have to say Finding Nemo. It had the best "moral" so to speak. The "moral" of The Incredibles was, if you aren't special, don't try to be. You know, that one scene:

Thank you Me, I wasn't sure how to word my reaction, but appreantly you did. That is not the message I got out of it at all chexfan. That idea put forth by Syndrome was made to look bad.Me wrote:And what about the themes of being yourself, family life, etc?chexfan2000 wrote:I have to say Finding Nemo. For a view I agree with go here
In that review, they point out something that is persistent in the film, and also contradicts your conclusion:
-JonathanPI wrote:A persistent theme woven throughout is that individual giftedness and uniqueness should not be stifled. Fulfill your potential, the movie says. Be yourself, and don't let irrational social pressure tear you down or stick you in a box.

Looks like Disney's gonna do just fine without Pixar. At least with their new movie Valiant. It looks so cool! http://www.mymovies.net/player/play...55&sec=trailers
EDIT: The trailer I saw in the theatres was much better than this one.

Evolution is a faith, not a science!
I prefer to think of it the other way around.Jman 009 wrote:Looks like Disney's gonna do just fine without Pixar. At least with their new movie Valiant. It looks so cool! http://www.mymovies.net/player/play...55&sec=trailers
