Well I am incredibly unoptimistic about my chances of being even somewhat competitive this year!

Well, you're currently projected to defeat me in week 1, so here's hoping that you're right.

I couldn't imagine how that could be the case, with you drafting so far ahead of me, but then I checked and saw that it's only by one point.
