I heard that Disney Plus was making a Percy Jackson series that was supposed to be closer to the books than the previous movies. I haven't seen the movies or read the books, but I know people who are fans, so I might end up seeing this.

I haven't seen the movies (or read the books) but I gathered that fans of the series were pretty let down by them. This is supposed to be a closer adaptation as you said, I wonder if people will like it more.

As someone who has been disappointed by multiple book-to-movie creations in the past, I hope for the best for the true fans!
