027: A Change of Hart

Freddie Hart is constantly teased by his middle school classmates. But when he switches schools, he finds that his troubles follow him.
This is a good episode. It is the first conversion story in Odyssey; not Connie or Digger, but Freddie Hart. It really is about not conforming to what other people want you to be, and it really does communicate that message effectively. It kinda feels like a Family Portraits episode in away, even though it isn't.

Other places are okay
And some are fine
But as far as hometowns go
Well, Odyssey is mine
Oh, it's the place to be
I'm sure you will agree

Hot take: I hate this episode. It’s just way too predictable. It’s like you know exactly what is going to happen even before the second act.
