004: Connie Comes to Town

Episode summary
Whit's End is packed with so many customers that Whit can't handle it by himself. Fortunately, a young girl by the name of Connie Kendall comes to work for him while she tries to earn some money to return home to California.
My thoughts
We meet a high schooler who becomes a pillar of the AIO show. Connie comes in to ask for directions to some job she's applying for. And Whit interviews her on the spot and offers her a job!

The theme of this episode is to avoid making decisions that go against the authority figures in your life. God has given us authorities to help us (despite what the little people think). Children, in particular, lack the experience and ability make good judgments all the time.

What a classic episode that is imminently relistenable. 5/5

I like it. It sets up Odyssey from this point on. It's just strange hearing non-Christian Connie after all this time.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TOO!

Other places are okay
And some are fine
But as far as hometowns go
Well, Odyssey is mine
Oh, it's the place to be
I'm sure you will agree
Have you ever been to Odyssey?
