This year 30 seconds of commercial time cost $5.5 million, actually slightly less than last year. Notably absent this year were multiple companies whose ads have become yearly staples including Pepsi, Coke, and Budweiser, who all passed on commercials due to financial uncertainties stemming from covid.

I thought the Rocket mortgage ones were amusing. None of the others stood out as that great to me.
