The Town of Odyssey

Did anyone else enjoy the Straussberg seperation story as much as me? Granted, I was several years into the transition at the time, but my own experiences with divorce made this arc more powerful. While I believe that in my case the divorce was a must, I can sympthize with Mandy's feelings.

I remember thinking at the time of its release that it was one of the more mature and nuanced storylines that AIO produced, particularly as the Straussbergs were such an established and beloved family. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts about the story's conclusion, did you find the happy ending somewhat reduced the impact of the story overall?
