The Town of Odyssey

Everyone,

It's hard to believe we are now ready to bring to power the thirty-seventh administration team! After a month of campaigning, two teams emerged with the funds necessary to compete for the administrative crown. A turn-out of 43 votes were cast in the Thirty-seventh Town of Odyssey Election.

Just so you know, the poll thread is located here. This thread was created to easily identify the election results (in the same way we did for past elections) and the poll thread has been subsequently moved to City Hall for archiving.

Oh my goodness! How exciting is this?! *Eugene dances*

Ummm... I know this isn't an award show, but I feel like I have to thank a bunch of people! First, thanks to my mother for being there. Second, thanks to Catspaw, also for being there. And thirdly, thanks to everyone who showed support for DA POWER PAWS...and for being there.

Seriously though, I wasn't expecting this. When quarantine started, I wasn't sitting there thinking to myself, "gee, wish I could weasel my way into power somewhere and enslave an entire population." Yet, thanks to all of you, here I am!

*Eugene pauses to allow the thunderous applause to die down*

So dawns a new age on the fair little town of Odyssey. And so does my first-ever term as an admin!! I'm so excited to be doing this with such amazing people as snubs and Kaida and I'm looking forward to our term and enacting all of the things that we talked about in our platform. Stay tuned for all of the shenanigans we have planned!

Hello, people of The Town of Odyssey!

I always feel a little bad beating the opposing team, because I know the time it takes to plan and put things together. Even though, Dandelion and Pengwin didn't really plan anything.. BUT STILL. I ran 3 times before getting elected for the first time. HARD WORK PAYS OFF.

Anyway, thank you to all who voted! It was all you guys that made this election so fun! Especially thanks to Eugenepaw and Kaidapaw for being great power paw pals, and even better powerfully pawsome masterminds!

Pengwin and Danadelfos are great chatroom buddies, so it made running against them even more fun! Thank you guys for being the first to jump into Election 37, and running a good race!!

I look forward to serving the Town once again. And I hope you all look forward to doing your part as lovely citizens. Lets make Term 37 one to remember!
