Okay, I know you saw the title and you judged me hard, but hear me out. 

I have always lamented that memes do not usually depend on an audio format since it basically negates the possibility of creating AIO memes. BUT... I see that the whippersnappers these days are putting together memes with audio tracks on TikTok. Being the ancient and technologically inept person that I am, I have literally no idea how to use TikTok. To all you youngsters who are familiar with TikTok: is this the format that I have waited for? Is it finally possible to make a meme using the audio from AIO? 

YESSSSSS. I WANT THIS. I've been talking about this on the chat. After seeing MonkeyDude's topic about AIO characters reacting to covid, I've been wanting to see those reactions in small clips on tiktok.

I want funny Odyssey TikToks though, there aren't enough odyssey memes in the world.

Some of us don't think it makes us mature. Some of us are just too old to keep up with all the high-falutin' technological advancements that come our way and just ignore things, knowing they will either go away soon enough or we'll eventually figure it out if we have to. The couple of TikToks I've seen weren't so amazing that I was compelled to care that much. It's like all platforms - some of it will be great, some will be mediocre, and some will be just plain bad.

Yeah, isn't this just the next iteration of Vine? Look how that turned out after it was supposed to be the next big thing.

i mean, vine WAS the big thing for a while, it helped launch several careers on youtube. i never used it but people do jump onto viral trends and can actually make a living out of it, cringe as it may be

There is a little bit of AIO content! I am vindicated! So is TikTok primarily just lipsyncing like the girl did in this clip? Or do people do other things? (e.g., someone claims something really weird is an "answer to prayer," and it cuts to Bernard saying, "I don't even wanna know what you've been praying for.")

No, she's a cosplayer so the cosplayer TikTok accounts do that.

The funny TikToks are basically 3d memes(?) Not sure how else to describe them.
