So many ways. I've gotten to reconnect to old friends through theToO and other online forums/slack groups, I have more time to do Zoom calls and do a lot of healthy soul care. I've gotten to spend more time with my parents and siblings. I've gotten more sleep. I can work from home. I'm really grateful for the lockdown. Thanks for asking that!
What do you do that you can work from home?
Programming. :compy: It is a little harder since I'm still learning and I get less help but it's nice to be able to.
Kaida wrote:What are the best toppings for ice cream?
Oreos or strawberries. If it's frozen yogurt, I like the boba balls.
Kaida wrote:What was the best present you ever received?
A Macbook Pro! I've gotten a lot of good presents. If I ask for something, at this point, it seems like my family pretty much will get it for me.
Kaida wrote:What's a random and perhaps useless talent you have?
This is hard for me for some reason. I'm very good at watching Youtube videos. lol. Somewhat useless.
Kaida wrote:What's a super useful talent you have?
Problem solving.
KnittingFun14 wrote:When was the last time you climbed a tree just for fun?
Oh boy, probably four or five years ago.
KnittingFun14 wrote:What do you wish you knew about?
More medical knowledge. I would like to study medicine at some point.
KnittingFun14 wrote:What takes up too much of your time and what do you wish you were doing instead of that?
Oh boy, probably the internet in general. I would rather be building things either in real life or programming things.

radgeek wrote:What is the best part of programming?
The ability to create things and help lots of people by building something once.
radgeek wrote:What is the best thing about the internet as a tool?
The knowledge spread. You don't need the library anymore! Youtube tutorials!
Kaida wrote:Building what things in real life?
I sometimes screenprint t-shirts. \:D/
Kaida wrote:Where do you want to travel?
Australia and Japan.
Kaida wrote:Where have you traveled? Which trip was the best?
To most of the continents, I just need Australia and Antarctica. Probably the one in Europe with my sisters.
Kaida wrote:What's your favorite thing to have for breakfast?
Eggs, bagel, and a latte.
KnittingFun14 wrote:What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them?
Reading: I just always loved reading and I've finally come back to it.
Outdoor volleyball: Friends got me into it.
Going to the gym: Also through a friend.
Running: My sister got me into it.
Youtube: I wanted to veg out, or learn one or the other I'm not sure why I got into it.
KnittingFun14 wrote:What's your favorite story about yourself?
This is kind of hard. One that comes to mind is I ran a marathon in South Africa and I stayed with some professional runners in a guesthouse. Their times were really fast under 3 hours. But I drove them to the race. So they waited for me as I ran it in about 4 1/2 hours. So they waited for an hour and a half for me to finish. I guess that's not completely about me. But I enjoyed that.
KnittingFun14 wrote:What’s the most unusual place you’ve fallen asleep?
I don't think I have any unusual places. Maybe an outdoor park? I just laid down and dozed off.

Bella.
ByeByeBrownie wrote:What's the scariest thing that's ever happened to you?
Probably thinking I've wasted much of my life.
ByeByeBrownie wrote:On a scale of 1-10, how chill are you?
Probably a 7. I can be intense but I feel like most of my friends tell me I'm pretty chill. I tend to internalize my feelings leading to being more chill externally.
ByeByeBrownie wrote:Have you ever lost anything important?
Materially, there's a maroon hoodie that I really liked that I lost. :-( I don't even know where or when..

In terms of truly losing, years of my life that I've wasted selfishly. But I don't want it to be perceived that I'm depressed about it. I'm grateful for all that God has taught me through the years. And it's okay because God can and does use all of our stories. Beauty in the ashes.
KnittingFun14 wrote:What makes you laugh the most?
Certain humor that I can visualize in my head playing out.
KnittingFun14 wrote:What's your biggest fear?
I have quite a few. Hurting others. Believing lies about myself and others. I hope that I fear God the most though. I know that's probably not quite the point, but I really want to live a life where I just fear God and keep His commandments. I don't want to do what Solomon did and waste my life on so many other things before I figure out that all of this other stuff matters so little in comparison. I want to learn from the past, not repeat the same mistakes.
KnittingFun14 wrote:Who is your favorite author?
Mmmm probably Paul. And if I go outside the Bible, maybe C.S. Lewis?

KnittingFun14 wrote:Are you more of a morning or a night person?
I think I'm more of a morning person. I just really enjoy having a quiet morning with some good coffee.
radgeek wrote:If you were to start a YouTube channel, what would the content be about?
Me doing different projects. Building an iPhone app. Printing t-shirts. Building a mtn bike track. Things like that.
Connie G. wrote:Do I know your views on predestination? :?:
I don't know. I guess my predestination views are similar to Pipers -- https://www.desiringgod.org/interviews/ ... not-others From my limited life experience, I've seen that God saves some who you think would never be saved based off of their rejection of God or addictions/life choices, and doesn't save those who you would definitely think are saved based off their upbringing and what knowledge is in their heads, and the way they act, (at least for a little while). Some are Pharisees, some are unrepentant Publicans, and God can and does save both. If even one of us is saved, it's a huge miracle. And I'm really thankful for God's mercy in saving even one of us.

Yes, but I only eat them if they are Bavarian cream filled. \:D/ Otherwise it's just not worth the calories. :anxious:
