ByeByeBrownie wrote:What's the worst gift you've ever received?
Well it wasn't a bad gift. But I was saying howdy a lot to people and so my family got me a sign that said howdy and for me I'm not really a decorations person and I wanted something different. I just remember having a bad attitude about the whole thing. But I didn't appreciate the gift. :boohoo:
ByeByeBrownie wrote:What's your favorite holiday?
Christmas. I just love the whole season.
ByeByeBrownie wrote:Is there any specific word that you always spell incorrectly?
Mmmm I think the one I get wrong most often is to vs too. I have to think about it every time.

I'm not sure why. I think it's because of the nuts. :(
Kaida wrote:What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?
I think cookie dough but I'm pretty conflicted! \:D/ Because I like pretty much all ice cream. I'll even eat rocky road, I just had to choose one.
Kaida wrote:What's your favorite book of the Bible?
Currently, the Psalms. :D
Kaida wrote:Favorite verse?
Currently - "I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well." ~ Psalm 139:14

On a bit of a side note, I've been memorizing some Scripture throughout the past year and I'm amazed at how little I can remember of it right now. :(

How long does it take you to memorize scripture? Are you good at memorizing it quickly and it's only trying to recall it much later that you're having trouble with?
I can relate though. And I know I should go back and review what I've memorized but don't often do that...
Are you working on memorizing anything now?
Do you have a pet?
If you could have any mythical creature as a pet, what would it be?

I'm pretty slow. We did a little Romans memorization recitation and I was supposed to do Romans 12 but I didn't memorize it fast enough to be part of the group. But I did finish eventually! It took me about 3 months.
Kaida wrote:Are you working on memorizing anything now?
I'm kind of working on Psalm 119. I started an informal Bible memory club at church. But since COVID-19 I haven't seen mi amigos very much so I've lost quite a bit of motivation. :-(
Kaida wrote:Do you have a pet?
No. But I think I would like to buy a plant to take care of.
Kaida wrote:If you could have any mythical creature as a pet, what would it be?
A dragon is all I can think of. Although I know they did exist to some extent. So I don't know if that really counts as mythical.

Well let's try. Blessed are the undefiled in the way for they walk in the way of the Lord. Blessed are those who keep His testimonies who seek Him with the whole heart.

So kind of 2 verses.. I'm working on the 3rd verse now. Thanks for getting me back to this! \:D/
Kaida wrote:What is a character quality you admire in other people that you wish you had?
Perseverance. I give up so easily and get discouraged really quickly.
Kaida wrote:What is a skill you wish you had?
I wish I was good at olympic lifting.
Kaida wrote:What do you like about being a Type 4?
I like that I am creative and like to create things. I like that I really enjoy emotional connection with people, that I like to have deep conversations.
Kaida wrote:What do you dislike about being a Type 4?
I don't like that I get overwhelmed easily by negativity. :-( And also on the flip side I feel like I am dependent on human connection too much and I have trouble with small talk.
KnittingFun14 wrote:Biking or hiking?
Biking! I really enjoy biking on trails.
KnittingFun14 wrote:Movie or book?
Book. Although I like the visual stimulation from movies, books are much more satisfying.
KnittingFun14 wrote:Camping in a cabin or a tent?
I would say a tent. You can go more places with a tent.

Great question! The answer is no. I didn't need to be and shouldn't have been. :( Although some of those CGI segments were pretty great.
KnittingFun14 wrote:What do you hope never changes?
The peace in my church right now.
KnittingFun14 wrote:What's the best way to start a day?
With coffee, breakfast, the Bible, prayer, meditation, and planning my day.
KnittingFun14 wrote:If there's any age you wish you could stay at, what would it be and why?
Probably 26? The brain is fully matured at that point and the body has the most potential for strength. You would just grow in wisdom if your body stayed the same. However, if I had to relive a year over and over again with the same wisdom and same strength. I don't know. Maybe 40? I think at that point you have the most potential for creating new things you have more wisdom, but you still also have energy.

So many ways. I've gotten to reconnect to old friends through theToO and other online forums/slack groups, I have more time to do Zoom calls and do a lot of healthy soul care. I've gotten to spend more time with my parents and siblings. I've gotten more sleep. I can work from home. I'm really grateful for the lockdown. Thanks for asking that!
