Have you ever been to a fair?

What was the last song you listened to?

Do you mostly use patterns when you knit, or do you do freehand work?

1. I have not, but I think I'd probably enjoy it.
2. Silhouettes by the Alley Cats. I love the Alley Cats! \:D/
3. I mostly use patterns and alter them to what I like. I have done freehand before too though. I would like to go to all freehand and make my own patterns though. Which, I'm slowly working towards.

Are you currently reading a book? If so, which one?
What are some things that would be helpful to make the ToO board not look so intimidating at first?
Have you gotten the hang of the ToO board?

1. With knitting you use 2 needles, and with crocheting you use a crochet hook. :p You get different designs both ways. I find them very different. I prefer knitting, but I also absolutely love crocheting.
2. Danville
3. Definitely 100% country. I love the country!

1. I'm currently reading The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle. But, recently I haven't had time to read anything besides my Bible.
2. I don't know exactly... I think it'd be nice to have the rules easy to see and get to. And have a place easy to see where you can ask questions about it. Or have a Q&A section, or (i know this is a lot but it's something I wish they had when I first got on here) have a short video that gives you a tour of the site and shows you how to use it. That would be like, the ultimate thing to me. And then also have a place to-get-to-know people section. (I'm not sure if they already have that?)
3. I think I have for the most part.

1.The Psalms. I just love those.
2.Probably Matthew 11:28; "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest"
3.I really like getting to bed at 10PM and getting up at 6AM, but that like hardly ever happens. But then I also like getting to bed at 3AM and getting up at 9-10AM just because people are chatting at 3. :anxious: I'd probably pick the first though, because it always feel like you get more done. Even though that like never happens. haha :-

1. Yes I have! I really love it as well.
2. To me, it's because I feel like when you mess up you have to rip out the whole thing vs knitting you can just drop your stitches and pick them up properly.
3. Getting to spend more time chatting, doing video calls, reconnecting, making new friends and being able to see more movies. For the most part though, my life hasn't changed much during any of this. We never got out much before.

1. First off, that'd be a nightmare. I like switching up food haha. But if I really had to, then maybe grits and eggs?
2. Garlic cheesy grits with runny yolk eggs!
3. Orange juice!
4. Yes! You should eat all what I just suggested. :D

1. Neither. :p But... If I had to choose, then probably the prairie because it's nice and open.
2. Canada, Ireland, and Africa.
3. Christmas, because I love celebrating the birth of our Savior, hanging out with family, and it's a good excuse for all those treats to make together :-
radgeek wrote:Do you have a recipe for these garlic cheesy grits?
I always just kinda made it from scratch and followed the ratio of water and grits, but I can sort of give you a recipe-made-up-on-the-spot. :D
Ingredients: Grits, water, milk (optional), cheese, salt, black pepper, butter, and garlic cloves. The ratio of water and grits is, 1 cup of grits to 4 cups of water (or you can substitute some of your water for milk if you want it richer and a slightly different flavor). Cook the grits with salt and water (and milk if desired). Once it's about done, add butter, minced garlic, cheese and black pepper. Stir as much as possible. for best results. It tends to clump or stick if it isn't stirred enough. I normally use quick grits but old fashioned grits are good too. They just take longer. I normally cut the cheese into smaller cubes and they'll melt that way without having to grate the cheese. I suppose the black pepper is also optional, but it does add a really good favor. I would recommend using fresh garlic cloves over garlic powder because in my opinion garlic powder doesn't even compare to garlic cloves.

Describe the perfect day
1. I love climbing trees, but I wouldn't say I'm good at it.
2. Ooh, probably December or June or both.
3. Sunday.
4. Getting to hang out with family and going on a picnic and/or bike ride. Also getting to chat with friends and getting a lot done that day.

Almond butter chocolate peppermint fudge/bar that you keep in the freezer. It's soooo good and it's also sugar free! (made with some other sweetener) \:D/ Or... Homemade marshmallows or crunchies. \:D/

1.Yes, I rode a horse once last year in May. We went on a camping trip and got to go on a horse ride. That was very fun. \:D/
2 &3 &4. We just keep them for pets and use their wool. No, not the ones we have now. When they had lambs and I bottle fed them, I named some. My mom needle felts things out of their wool! Not really. I really want to spin the wool, make yarn, dye it, and knit it into an afghan for my hope chest sometime though.
