He's a Linux man. He wouldn't use Photoshop. Was GIMP that performed the magic.Jonathan wrote:Well duh. Of course it's not the real deal. Photoshopped, tis was.COWBOY OF TEXAS wrote:I still find it hard to believe that that is the rest of the picture.

Hey look! Someone who actually knows that there is more than one image manipulation program! Yeah, I did do a little Gimpin'; would have been easier if I had any idea as to what the rest of the room looks like...Me wrote:He's a Linux man. He wouldn't use Photoshop. Nothing was photoshopped out. He just added on to the room. If you look closely at both pics, you'll notice that there is a large gap after the last toaster on the first one, and that gap is totally gone in the second. Also, you notice some repeating patterns in the extended cabinets.AIOFan11 wrote:What was photoshopped out?!?!Me wrote:He's a Linux man. He wouldn't use Photoshop. Actually, I do use Photoshop (CS2). I tried Gimp once, several versions ago, and couldn't figure it out. I was just ready to give it another try when the hard drive on my laptop died. I haven't yet replaced it, and so haven't had time to mess around with GIMP yet.

Yeah, I wasn't all that careful; I think the upper cabinet is shorter too... I didn't really think making it perfect was an efficient use of my time (neither was doing it at all for that matter lol).
It took me a while to learn The Gimp; I kinda had to after upgrading to Linux (from windoze). I found it to be very efficient after getting used to it. I haven't used Photoshop at all actually, so I can't really compare it; but I have been able to accomplish the same as some "advanced" Photoshop tutorials.

I like the Gimp, it does the job well.
At first I thought that you were talking about Gimp, then I realized that it was a computer program of sorts.

I bid $250,000!
But anyway, I may not be an admin anymore, so I can't outright ban, but I can still go on mass deletion sprees of select peoples posts... and that might just occur if this picture is revealed to ANYONE without the originators consent. I will not allow this picture to fall into the wrong hands!!
(please note that by originator I mean myself, as I took the picture, thus all the money should be going to me (not Me). I suppose Jessicado could come up with some lame theory that she is the originator because she is in it, but then that would retroactively go back to her parents since they are the originator of her, and it really is a vicious cycle so I think it should all just end with me.)

Or save your time and energy of trying to figure out who the "originator" is and give your money to Gimp.Brian wrote:(please note that by originator I mean myself, as I took the picture, thus all the money should be going to me (not Me).
