New Town Council Members

Post by snubs »

Hello all,

Due to most all the Council members' busy schedules, I've added two new members ready and willing to help out. :)

Please welcome Countess and Isaiah the Ox to the Council!

Unfortunately Anemone needed to step down on account of being too busy (with her 'real life' job) to commit the time. So Countess and Ox will help fill the void and then some!

Thanks you two for your willingness to donate your time, it is much appreciated!

Wow! This is really exciting. \:D/

I'm honored to help this precious board. And I'm also ready to return and begin posting again.

I hope the rest of this term will be great!

It seems like there should have been some measure of public input on something like this.

I knew you would say something like this, and on a normal day I would have, but I needed the help immediately, and they have proven themselves to be dedicated and proactive in their work.

So, I hope you all can just trust my efforts! =)

I figured it was a time issue; it's just that we were informed of the original potential council members beforehand. This kind of move isn't unprecedented, but I didn't like when it happened before either. I'm in favor of as much transparency as is reasonable.

Not saying you did anything really wrong, or criticizing this situation in particular, just voicing input on the subject in general.

Yeah, and I agree. I like to keep the Town (as a whole) involved in decisions and such as much as possible. So I know what you mean and understand. *nods*

The oligarchy reveals its true nature, non-democratic dictatorship.

=P

I actually think you picked good choices.

Isn't Catspaw a dictator though, albeit a benevolent one? The democratic elections are just a farce to appease the masses.

Shadowpaw is the true source of power. However, he delegates his power to Queen Catspaw who delegates power to the democratic victors.

*Rolls out the red carpet leading to the limo* 8-)

I guess it's about time the truth is revealed. The Council was really just hand selected by Catspaw to be her secret service agents and servants.
