Help!
I have two very annoying little programs. One is called mmov. It used to be sixty-six, which gave me fun little pop up ads. Anyway, when it pops up now, it has a ton of little windows pop up in the window, with nothing but an 'ok' to click and a message I don't understand. At the same time this is happening, another fun little popup program called '180 Search Assistant' installs itself. I then uninstall it. This happens several times a day, and my spybot won't get rid of it and it's driving me crazy. Any suggestions?
Also, does the program RUNDLL (I think that's the name) have any significance? I can't shut down while mmov is doing it's thing, so I just turned my surge protector off one night in a vain attempt to defeat it and every time I've brought it up since, it's told me that RUNDLL can't run or something like that.
If any of you could help me I'd greatly appreciate it as it's driving me bonkers.
*goes to uninstall 180 yet again*

You have spyware and/or adware, which is interfering with the operation of your spyware-removal software. The best way to defeat them is to dance The Security Tango. That site will walk you through how to rid yourself of these pests. Simply click the "Let's Dance!" button on the left and follow all the steps exactly.
"RUNDLL" is an essential part of Windows. If it's still causing problems after you get rid of the spyware, come back and I'll try to advise you on that subject.

If that's so, then I respectfully request that you allow me to hide behind the curtain of this site's inner workings as soon as possible so that I can get busy geeking about in peace, as I prefer to do. I hate all this attention.Shadowpaw wrote:Welcome to the Town of Odyssey where the world is upside down and computer nerds get all the love .

I would have done that in the first place if it weren't for the fact that guest posting isn't allowed here.NatetheGreat wrote:Just post as a guest.Tim Peterson wrote:If that's so, then I respectfully request that you allow me to hide behind the curtain of this site's inner workings as soon as possible so that I can get busy geeking about in peace, as I prefer to do. I hope you got everything fixed, Jonathan.
Wonderful job, Tim. And the spotlight can be a very good thing at times. At least we all know that you are good at what you do.
